On Friday October 17th, the Tippecanoe Chamber Music Society came to Mayflower Mill to give a concert for 3rd grade students. Students enjoyed listening to live jazz music featuring trumpet, saxophone, electric bass guitar, and drum set. During the concert students learned about the 12 bar blues and got to help the musicians count to 12 to keep track of their music. It was a wonderful experience for the students to hear live music and learn about the different instruments. We would like to say thank you to the Tippecanoe Chamber Music Society for bringing such a wonderful and exciting experience to our students!
