First Grade Book Character Parade
Taylor Butcher

The first grade students at our school filled the hallways with excitement and creativity during our annual Book Character Parade! Leading up to the event, students dove into learning about characters and character traits, making their selections from a variety of beloved books.

Dressed as characters like Batman, Elsa, Little Red Riding Hood, and Harry Potter, the students proudly paraded around the school, each clutching the book that inspired their costume. The atmosphere was electric as students lined up, ready to showcase their characters to their classmates and teachers.

As they made their way through the school, the rest of the students cheered and applauded, shouting out the names of their favorite characters in excitement. It was a joyous celebration of literature and creativity that brought the entire school community together.

The Book Character Parade was a fantastic way for students to showcase their creativity and love for stories, and we can’t wait to see what they’ll come up with next year!
