Mayflower Enjoys a Sweet Cupcake Run

On September 21, members from the Mayflower community joined over 700 other participants in the Cupcake Run/Walk for the Public Schools Foundation of TIppecanoe County. It was held in West Lafayette and started at Cumberland Park. Registration fees help fund their grant program for local teachers. There were representatives from Mayflower in all three races; Kids Run, 5K and 10K. Both present and future students participated in the Kids Run. When asked about the race, Rowan Kochert (1st grade - Stonebraker) said "I really liked doing it. We got cupcakes and medals!" It was a fun time for all and a wonderful way to raise money for a good cause.
