The 2/3 HA Class is studying the eating habits of animals by looking at skulls and the teeth in the skull. The Tippecanoe Parks Department loaned the class several animal skulls to examine and determine the eating habits of the animal. By identifying the incisors, canines, premolars and molars in the skull, students decided if the animal was an herbivore, carnivore, or omnivore. This is just one lesson in the Animal Unit for the class. Students are also reading the Classic Starts Novel: Black Beauty as the literature component of the unit.
