The Wabash Heartland Innovation Network (WHIN) has awarded the Tippecanoe School Corporation $353,577 to replace interior wireless access points in all school buildings. In addition, the grant will help cover the cost to expand outdoor WiFi near the main entrance to McCutcheon High School.

"The Tippecanoe School Corporation is excited to once again partner with WHIN to enhance internet connectivity on our school campuses,” says TSC Technology Director Dr. Devin Arms. “Funding from the grant will be used in combination with federal E-Rate dollars to support an extensive project to replace more than 1,200 wireless access points throughout the TSC. Additionally, funds from the grant will allow us to further expand our outdoor WiFi coverage at McCutcheon High School to encompass the school bus parking area." 
 
The wireless access points that need to be replaced, along with other network equipment, provide high speed internet access to nearly 14,000 students and 1,600 employees on a daily basis.
 
The project is expected to start in the fall, barring any delays in purchasing the equipment.
In 2021, WHIN awarded the TSC $117,407 to support the expansion of outdoor WiFi connectivity at Harrison High School and McCutcheon High School.
